Badges are a good way of celebrating achievement and showing progress. Badges are symbols of accomplishment. Badges may be awarded based on a variety of chosen criteria and may be displayed on a learner’s profile or pushed to their Badge backpack.

How to earn a Badge?

Normally Badges are awarded to users automatically based on their actions in the system. The completion criteria of an active Badge are re-calculated every time an event such as completion of a course or Activity happens. If a learner has completed all necessary requirements they are issued a Badge.

Go to Transcripts -> My Badges

Enabling users to connect to an external Backpack means they can add Badges from their site to their Backpack and also display badges from other sites in their profile.

You can connect to your Backpack as follows:

1. Click the “connect to a backpack” option.
2. If necessary, select your Backpack provider.
3. Enter your Badgr user account Email and Password.
4. Look in your mailbox for a verification email.

After the Backpack connection is successfully established, badges from your Backpack can be displayed on your badges page.
